| Blue Heron has been that "little known" secret between me and my golf bud. It's a short practice course that allows you to work on your short game. The front 9 has always been hit or miss; but on my most recent visit, I found that they are really lacking water! I know we are in the middle of a drought, but the greens are more dirt than green and the fairway has really taken a hit. I was told by the office that they had already used up 75% of their water reserve for the season. Unless we get a lot of rain soon, I would wait to play there until conditions improve. |
