| Course is in very good shape. Greens are consistently fast. Traps have good sand in them and are well tended. Fairways and rough are well tended with very few burn out spots. We had an internet special that included lunch (excellent pork bar-b-q sandwich) for only $25. |

| Considering the drought, this course is in amazing shape. There are a couple of dry spots in the frwys, but the greens are super!!! Friendly starter, too. ;) |

| Due to the heat the rough is dried out but the tall heather is attractive. The fairways and greens are in good condition. The new 19th hole hospitality tent is wonderful on a nice summer day. The best bargain in town. |

| Course was generally good, fairways green but hard. Sand bunkers in good shape. Greens very smooth and slow. Rough and surrounding areas dried out and very hard. Reservoir ponds and water hole very low due to lack of rain.
Don't rely on the jiffy john at hole 13, it is a disaster. Go to bathroom after the 9th hole. The water cans were not replaced until 9:30-10:00 am so take your own water. |

| The course was in good condition. The friendly staff let 2 foursomes tee off in front of us, even though they had only reserved one tee time. I guess it wouldn't have mattered if I wasn't in the first group that got delayed. All in all a pretty good value. |

| Poolesville is a relatively long and open course, playing over 6800 from the tips. It can be challenging however, evidenced by it's slope of 71.6 on a par 71. The course is under new management and they are doing a great job of having the course in mid-summer shape this early. The fairways are in great shape with very limited divots. The greens, having recovered nicely from aeration, are smooth, but slow. Pretty sweet on the wallet too. You can't be riding 18 for $30 on a Saturday afternoon. Also had a nice top-flite ball special going on, 2 15 packs of balls for $20...and my buddy Mike Bergamini needed every one. Make sure you remember your bug spray though, it's always a little buggy out there. |
