Course is in good shape for late fall. Greens are medium speed and traps have excellent sand in them. Tees are less beat up than other courses that I have played recently.

Course was in pretty good shape. The fairways could have been cut shorter. Solid hot dog at the turn.

Rocky Point was in great shape here in Feb. It was not too crowded even with the weather being in the upper 50s. Anyway I figured the course would be a little worn from all the play it got last year but it looks like it will be in great shape for 08.

Rocky Point is in great shape, has been for the past 2 years. The only problem is this course is getting as crowded as Pine Ridge, course could be in trouble soon if it keeps getting over played

I played in a outing at R.P. today. Course was in great shape. Some burnt out areas in between some fairways, But the fairways and greens were in great shape. It is not the R.P. of old.

The course was in great shape. The greens were just aerated but the used a lot of top dressing and was much more better then any other aerated greens I've played on. Great views of the water also

I was pleasantly surprised by Rocky Point. The course was in great condition, perfect greens and beautiful fairways. Holes 10 and 11 gave spectacular views of the Chesapeake. The round was pretty slow taking over five hours.

Having played this course on a weekly basis for the past 3 years I can tell you that it's in the best shape i've ever seen. The tee boxes were lush and short, the greens were flawless and have recovered from aeration 100%. My first knock on the course is the fairways. Not that they aren't in good shape, becuase they are in very nice shape, it's just that on some holes the fairway is clearly defined and on others you can't tell the fairway from the rough. Speaking of the rough, on most holes you want to avoid it at all costs! Today it was thick and had attitude. My only other knock is slow play. I didn't see a Ranger at all today. This is a problem that has plagued this course for years. They have managed to get a few good Rangers who keep you on your toes, just today they must have been off duty. Overall I would say go play this course and don't think twice about it. A few of the holes are along the Bay and offer great scenery, just allow a little more than 4 1/2 hours just in case.

I have played at this course on numerous occasions. I love it. Holes 10 and 11 are unbelievable. It's like you're playing at a totally different golf course. The rest of the course is just alright. Fairways were a little overgrown toward the end of the summer, but I'd imagine, come early Spring this course should be back in tip-top shape. This course is a great value, although the snack bar is below average
