| How about some love for Penderbrook Golf Club!?!?!?!? I really don't understand the recent slams of this course-it is was it is: close in, reasonably priced, layout a bit funky in spots, and greens and fairways usually in very good condition, as they were this time around. Golf and gas index from Arlington was $32. Play your tee time right, and you might just score "breakfast" and "lunch!" |

| This was the first course I played in NoVa since relocating and once was enough. I think this was $68 dollars for a dogpatch of a course. The greens were rough, lots of brown area and hardpan, not much character, and pretty much a bland golfing experience. Maybe good for beginners but any decent players will not like this course. Played OK for time and facilites are simple muni food and snacks. |

| To start, the staff was sub par. The fairways were par. The greens were awful. The greens were covered in sand and were in awful condition. There was a lack of respect for the game as very few ball marks were repaired. The best part of the Penderbrook experience was the free breakfast, which consisted of bagels, OJ and coffee.

| Considering the drought, the course was in pretty good shape. The greens were good and the fairways had a few brown spots. The tee boxes were pretty torn up and the rough was burnt. The fairways were tight and there was a lot of water. Very challenging course. |
