Course is in fantastic shape with a very challenging layout. Majority of the longer holes force you to carry 150+ yards off the tee, and the approach is not much easier. Plus, greens were very fast until the sun started going down - did not make for an easy Front 9. My only complaint would be that there was no cart girl, and i didn't see a single Ranger on the course to make sure people were keeping pace. All-in-all, phenomenal water views and great conditions make this course a must play!

It was about $90 to play of Saturday around noon. Expensive but worth it. The course was beautiful no two holes the same. I was very happy with the layout. The weather was perfect and even though traffic made us late the starter was very nice and helpful. We got out by ourselves. One helpful hint, buy a yardage book, there are a ton of blind shots.

Recently played the River Course at Queenstown. It took us 5 hours to complete our round because of slow play. Can you imagine paying $119.00 for a weekend round and on every shot you need to wait for 10 - 15 minutes before you can hit? On the turn we did talk to the group in front of us and they said, it seemed the pace of play died when they got to the Par 5 5th. On the back we did see a Marhsal talking to 2 groups in front of us, but that was near the Par 4 15th. From what we were told, one of the groups was searching for golf balls all day, which slowed everyone down. Not sure I want to spend that kind of money if play is going to take forever.

Nice experience. Caddy was a character, but he had the course down cold

While the greens were firm and rolling true, I didn't see much else to justify the increase in green fees. I only saw one group on the course using the "complimentary" forecaddie service. Other than the greens, it seemed like the same experience as before the massive fee increase.

Wow! What a course! I just wish I played it better. The greens have been replanted, dense and true. The layout is difficult but fair. The caddies are an extra bonus but I didn't live up to their expectations.
