| Birdwood is a nice course in Charlottesville, Virginia in the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course was in real good shape when we played, the rain really had every thing very green and the ruff was grown to around 5-6 inches which made the course challenging. This is UVA's home course so all of their carts are equipped with their logo which is dissapointing as some might feel a little queer riding in a cart that sports that teams symbol on it. $80 dollars is a little pricy for this course hitting the 3:30 twighlight rate of $51 is the only way to go here. Good views of the mountains, lots of elavation change, challenging ruff, couple of island greens make this course lay out exceptional and challenging. |
